This lively graphic novel follows a diverse group of adolescent friends as they discover that computing can be enjoyable, creative, and liberating. Taylor, Christine, Antonio, and Jon appear to be typical young teenagers—they communicate via texting, share jokes, are concerned about starting high school, and have each other's backs. When a racially biased artificial intelligence system causes harm in their neighborhood, they realize that technology isn't as neutral as they thought. But can an algorithm be racist?
